Adriano Cake Smash

Adriano's mom wanted a photography session for his first birthday. Her and I discussed the details and she wanted to do a Wild One cake smash session based off of the story, Where The Wild Things Are.

Mom sent me an inspiration photo and we rolled with it! She had a banner from his first birthday party she wanted to use and I found a tree ring to use as the cake stand. She also brought the adorable stuffed Max and monsters into my Bossier city studio.

Mom put him in to his first birthday outfit and we took some traditional photos with him looking very handsome.

We moved him from the traditional set up to the cake smash set up and he had a lot of fun playing with the cake stand before we managed to get the cake on it. Once the cake was down he was fascinated by the giant crown on top of the cake and kept playing with it.

Luckily it was made out of fondant so it held up pretty well. Adriano explored his cake and the cool cake toppers mom had saved from his 1st birthday party. Of all the ones year olds I've had in my studio, Adriano was the most active of them all! He really disliked sitting down and preferred to be standing or walking around between the sets.

Even during his bubble bath, he had a really hard time staying still.

We finally kept him in one spot by giving him the letters ONE to play with in the bathtub and man did he play with them!!

He kept throwing them out and then picking them back up. It was a lot of fun!
