Ruby Cake Smash-Cherry

Ruby's mom requested that we celebrate her first birthday by doing a cake smash session just outside of Shreveport, Louisiana. Her mom didn't have a particular theme in mind but she did find an adorable outfit and decided she would like to center the smash session around.

Ruby's mom sent me a pictures of the outfit and we talked about possibilities we could do. Her mom came with red, white and polka dot balloons and red streamer paper and two adorable outfits!

Ruby took her traditional photos in the dress her mom brought and we made sure to get the letters ONE in the photos. We changed her into the cute little romper with cherries all over it that mom had centered the session around. Mom put Ruby in front of her cake and she spent much more time exploring then she spent eating.

Ruby was most interested in the balloons and we got some pictures of pure joy as she attempted to eat the balloons.

Ruby's mom wanted to keep the splash session simple so she choose to do a bubble bath.

Ruby LOVED all of the bubbles and spent a lot of her time splashing and smiling.
